When you run a business like mine, the hardest thing is feeling like you have let people down.
This is how I felt on Tuesday when I had to cancel the week’s classes. First my children, then I fell prey to a nasty bug.
We are all better now, and I must thank all of you for your understanding and the emails you sent asking after us.
But, we are all better and this morning my good food magazine was delivered meaning that I could get back to baking.
There is a great recipe in this month’s edition for blueberry scones-which, of course, I have altered slightly.
So instead of vanilla extract I used almond, and instead of single cream I used yoghurt. But if I do say so myself they turned out really well.
