We have had great fun joining up with the Kids Make and Bake Club this week to share our favourite Hallowe’en party food, Witches’ fingers!

To make these revolting looking snacks you will need the recipe below.
- 3 oz plain flour
- 1.5 oz butter
- 2 oz cheese
- 1/2 egg
Preheat oven to 200°C or Gas Mark 6.
firstly rub the butter and flour together until you have breadcrumbs.
Add the cheese and egg, and knead until it makes a nice dough.
Separate into 8 equal pieces and roll into finger shapes.
Add almonds if you want to have fingernails. If the almonds chip when you press them on, don't worry it really adds to the effect.
Cook for 8 - 10 minutes
These don’t need to be kept just for hallowe’en though. If you want to just have cheese shaped goodness, then instead of making the fingers you can either just cut shapes out or make plaits. They should then be cooked until golden brown.
